After exporting our products to Congo, our intelligent products have been exported to Zimbabwe, another large resource country in Africa. This time, we participated in the construction of Zimbabwe Arcadia lithium mining project of Huayou Cobalt Industry. Our company has cooperated with Huayou Cobalt Industry in a number of domestic projects. This time, we will live up to the expectations and achieve new achievements when we cooperate across the ocean and thousands of miles away.
Founded in 2002, Huayou Cobalt Industry is a high-tech enterprise engaged in the research and development and manufacturing of new energy lithium electric materials and cobalt new materials. The company has completed the headquarters in Tongxiang, resources in overseas, manufacturing base in China, the market in the global space layout, it has formed three business segments of resources, new materials and new energy, and created a new energy lithium industry ecology from the development and smelting of cobal, nickel and lithium resources, to the deep processing of lithium cathode materials, and then to the resource recycling collection and utilization of new energy lithium electric industry ecology.
Arcadia lithium deposit has 1.9 million tons of lithium resources, with a grade of 1.06%. Lithium reserves of 1.24 million tons LCE, grade 1.19%. The Arcadia lithium mine is located about 38km east of Zimbabwe’s capital Harare at an altitude of 1,300-1,420m. The project is close to major highway and railway crossings and 11km from the main transmission lines of the region’s largest hydropower facility, it is about 580 kilometers away from Bela Port Tanzania, which is the regional export center. All the roads are two-lane cement roads with convenient transportation. The project is planned to have a capacity of 147,000 tons of concentrate (6%) and 118,000 tons of petalite concentrate (4%), which has good economic performance.
